The Doobie Brothers have just announced that they will be headlining the Low Down Violet Crown: Austin Rocks the Blues benefit concert this September. The concert, presented by ALL ATX, will raise funds for local musician in the Austin, TX area. The costs for this year's event have been generously underwritten, ensuring every dollar raised will go directly to the support of Austin's musicians. Among the recipients are Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), The SIMS Foundation, Black Fret, and Austin Music Foundation.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the to the public starting August 12, but The Doobie Brothers fans can get a first shot at tickets to the event. Starting Wednesday, August 10, The Doobie Brothers fans will get a exclusive access to pre-sale tickets for the following:
